'Across The Great Divide' Book
From the back of the book:
It's scary when the dead folk start talking. It's rare to see one as they move faster than light itself. Even though you can't see them, you know something is out there. Shadows beyond the seeing.
That's when they start whispering.
I've spent a lifetime walking streets, meeting people, and seeing life in a different light. Life doesn't turn out like you want or planned. Life, you see, has a way of talking, good, bad, and indifferent. It pummels you, tears you down, and turns you to mush. You wallow, or you get back up. It doesn't stop.
Living with schizophrenia hasn't been easy. I ran into brick walls and broken dreams. A lost mind is found. Hearing voices changes the game. The disease seems to like young adults. Burrows right into a young person's thinking.
But if you listen, you can learn. When I walk I hear the soft tones of yesterday. A caring town of people. Share with me the wisdom of the voices of yeterday.
